The John Paul II Center, which was founded by the University Regina Apostolorum, has as its objective the deepening of the figure of John Paul II, man, philosopher, priest, pope, his writings, and the relevance of his teaching.
Objectives: The collection and organization of the sources of thought and of John Paul II, photographic and audiovisual and unpublished material on his life, work, pontificate.
The study, research and teaching of different subjects and themes developed in the works by and about John Paul II, his charisma and impact on society during and after his life and work, and the publication of results of studies, research, monographs and essays.
Dissemination and promotion of the development of research and publications in general and the activities of the Centre. Activities and Projects: Creating and managing a specialized library that collects publications by and about John Paul II. Creating and managing a Film Library with audiovisual material on the life and the work of the Pope Creation of international networks. Research activities with the formation of working groups composed of experts in various subjects of interest on the subject. Organization of meetings on specific topics of study, meetings, conferences. Publications: The results of their teaching and research activities. Magazines and books ordered individually or in series on the life and thought of John Paul II, on facts and historical or topical issues concerning the Church and humanity, illustrating the action and the influence that led John Paul II.
