Master in Bioethics 2010-2011 PDF Print E-mail

The master in Bioethics is adressed to all those who want to insert in their professional life a deeper consciousness of problems concernig Bioethics: priests, religious, students, jurists, doctors and health care personal, religion teachers, catechists and other pastoral agents and volunteers engaged in defense of life. The master in Bioethics will allow them to deepen Bioethics arguments, to know its fundaments and to be prepared to face today's challenges in the biomedical and environmental area, at the light of catholic moral in line with the teachings of the Church.

 

Admission

For admission is followed the current regulation of the School. For the Master it is requested to have a university degree, or the bachelor in theology or philosophy, or the Diploma in Religious Sciences. Every other case will be evaluated by the Dean of the School of Bioethics.

 

Dates for enrolment

Until 5th november 2010.

 

Subjects and exams

To obtain the Diploma one must:
Attend classes; 20% of absence make the course become invalid.
Pass the final exam which according to plan is at the end of each of the two years; the dates of the exam of the academic year 2010-2011 will be thursday 25th november 2010 (remedial exam) and thursday 19th may 2011 (final exam).

 

Program for the academic year 2010-2011

In the academic year 2010-2011 will be carried out the modules 5-9 as anticipated in the global program. In the year 2011-2012 will be performed modules 1-4. 

Lessons will, as far as possible, be accompained by exercises and teamwork. 

The program is developped cyclically, without being expected a propedeutic continuity between the two years; it is therefore possible to enroll every year: newly enrolled will be given an introducing lesson.

Home Study modality

Lessons will be transmitted, in interactive modality, from the Master departmental Center. Courses for improving and specialization and distance learning of the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum can be attended in fixed centers in several cities in Italy.

 

Timetable

Lessons take place every thursday, from 3:30pm to 6:30pm.
