The School of Theology aims to deepen the mystery of God and of His plan of salvation in Jesus Christ, revealed in Sacred Scripture and faithfully transmitted by the Church.

Students are called to acquire a precise and organic knowledge of the Catholic Doctrine, to know how to explain and defend it with clarity and to be able to dialogue with other Christians and with men of our time.

The School also prepares students for the various services in the Church and especially for teaching at superior level. To achieve these objectives the activities of the teachers are oriented following this guidelines:

  • Present both the positive and the speculative Theology, in order to build a comprehensive system of the truths of faith starting from Revelation through theological reflection.
  • Enlighten temporal realities with the word of God, taking into account the mentality of modern humanity.
  • Emphasize the role of the Magisterium of the Church, to which it lies, by the will of Christ, to preserve in their integrity the revealed truths and to interpret authentically for the sake of God's people.
  • Provide a clear, complete and organic vision of the main areas, with special emphasis on the theology of St. Thomas Aquinas.
  • Teach theology not only as the transmission of doctrine, but as a testimony of ones faith, so that the study of sacred sciences may promote a deepening of the Christian experience and be converted into a stimulus to announce our faith.

The School of Theology seeks to illuminate the contemporary realities with the Word of God. To achieve this, its avenues of and teaching are developed around these following pillars:
